In front of 50 thousand spectators, the royal Spanish club simply crushed the home team 4-0. Unfortunately, Real's leader Zinedine Zidane had to leave the field in the middle of the second half due to a left foot injury sustained in a collision with Hayashi. It is currently unknown how serious the injury is and how long the Frenchman will be unable to play, but it is believed that the Real coach will not risk his leader in upcoming friendly matches.

The Catalan super club crushed Antlers 5-0, with the club's new signings Giuly and Larsson scoring goals. Although Ronaldinho did not score in this match, he was the star of the game, constantly tearing apart the Antlers defense and assisting his teammates twice.

Valencia 2 - 5 Niigata Albirex

Goals scored by:

Valencia: Mista, Angulo

Albirex: Hak An 2, Oseas 2, Wakui

Unlike Barcelona or Real, the Spanish champions had to admit the superiority of the Japanese club. It is said that thanks to their sponsor Toyota, Valencia will receive around 4.5 million litas for the two matches in Japan.

After the match, the new Valencia coach, somewhat surprisingly, was satisfied with the team's performance: "Both teams played well. The hosts were more accustomed to the climate, which affected us, but overall I am pleased with the performance of the team players."
