Spain's football divisions suspended indefinitely

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced that it is suspending all levels of championships indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. All professional championships are suspended until further notice, as reported on the lrytas.lt website.

The competitions were suspended last week and it was expected to resume on April 3. However, due to the strong outbreak of coronavirus in Spain, the resumption of matches is impossible.

Spain is the most affected country by the pandemic after China and Italy: there have been over 33,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the death toll has risen by 27%. In total, the insidious virus has claimed the lives of 2,182 people.

In "La Liga" championships, "Barcelona" is currently leading after 27 rounds. Clubs still have to play 11 matches.
