With a move to Milan linked to the Petersburg strategist Luciano Spalletti confirmed that he will continue to work in Russia next season.
It is said that the Italian is the main candidate to replace Milan's coach Rafael Benitez, whose days seem to be numbered.
"Spalletti himself told us that he wants to stay with the team for at least one more season," said Zenit's manager Maxim Mitrofanov. "I think that's enough. He certainly wouldn't lie to us about his future plans."
