Spaniards led by M. Asensio humiliate world vice-champions, Belgians deal with Iceland

UEFA Nations League continues to impress with results and creates an impression that some teams take this tournament more seriously than others.

Spain, led by Marco Asensio, humiliated the World Cup runner-up Croatia and secured a victory with a crushing score of 6-0.

In this match, M. Asensio scored one goal but also made three assists.

The first goal of the match came in the 24th minute when Saul scored. Just 33 minutes into the game, M. Asensio himself scored a goal, and two minutes later Lovre Kalinic redirected the ball into his own net from M. Asensio's shot which bounced off the crossbar and then off the goalkeeper's back.

After the break, Rodrigo, Sergio Ramos, and Isco managed to score. All three goals after the break came from precise passes of the Real Madrid player.

Belgium also secured a confident victory, defeating Iceland 3-0.

The Belgians took the lead in the 29th minute when Eden Hazard converted a penalty. Two minutes later Romelu Lukaku doubled Belgium's lead.

As the match was coming to an end, R. Lukaku added his second goal and left no chances for the Icelanders.

In League B, Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Austria 1-0, while in League C, Finland defeated Estonia, and Hungary managed to beat Greece.

In League D, Moldova and Belarus played to a draw, while Luxembourg confidently beat San Marino.
