On Tuesday evening in Spain, the football legend of the country, Quini, passed away, who would have turned 69 in the fall.
It is reported that the former striker of "Sporting Gijon" and "Barcelona" clubs died at his home after suffering a heart attack.
Quini spent most of his time in the "Sporting Gijon" team and became a true legend of the club. In total, the former footballer played almost 500 matches and scored 275 goals for this team.
In the "Barcelona" team, he spent four years, appearing 142 times and scoring 77 goals.
With "Barcelona," Quini won the King's Cup twice and once lifted the UEFA Cup trophy. Also, in 1979, Quini was recognized as the best player in the country and became the top scorer in the Spanish league five times.
