Spanish national team coach: A. Morata has all the chances to go to Russia

The head coach of the Spanish national team, Julen Lopetegui, admitted that the hardest part of working as a national team strategist is selecting the players who are called up to the team.

The national team strategist left players such as Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata, and recently struggling Alvaro Morata out of the squad for the upcoming friendly matches.

"There are many players who deserve to be in the national team, but they are not here," revealed J. Lopetegui.

"Alvaro had serious back problems, so he is not in the squad. However, there is always a chance to finish the season playing phenomenally and be a real candidate to go to the World Cup.

"I spoke with him on the phone and told him that we will not call him up this time, because that is our priority," the national team strategist spoke without beating around the bush.

A. Morata will have to fight for a place in the World Cup - without Diego Costa and Iago Aspas, Valencia's sharpshooter Rodrigo, demonstrating excellent form, is seriously targeting a starting position.
