Vicente Del Bosque had announced the list of 19 players earlier today who will go to the 2016 European Championship. In the evening, the final four footballers who were included in the current squad of the Champions of the Old Continent were revealed.
This morning, the final lineup was missing players from both Madrid teams. Sergio Ramos, Juanfran, Lucas Vazquez, and Koke were called up to the national team. Places did not open up for Saul Niguez and Isco, who were previously included in the preliminary lineup.
Earlier, Dani Carvajal was replaced in the national team by Hector Bellerin, as the "Real" Madrid defender suffered an injury in the Champions League final. Juan Mata, Diego Costa, and Fernando Torres were also left out of the Spanish national team's roster.
Spain will compete in Group D against Croatia, Turkey, and the Czech Republic. The Spaniards will play their first match against the Czechs on June 13.
