"Real" Madrid club promises to actively participate in the upcoming player transfers window this summer.
The Spanish capital's newspaper "Marca" announces that Zinedine Zidane, despite claims that he is satisfied with his goalkeepers' performance, will try to attract a new goalkeeper to the team this summer.
The main candidate is Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea. The Spanish national team goalkeeper was supposed to arrive in Madrid at the end of the transfer window in the summer of 2015, but due to the late filing of documents, the deal between Real and Man Utd never materialized.
It seems that the royal club has not forgotten about the possibility of acquiring D. De Gea and will once again fight for his signature this summer. The Spaniard, after unsuccessful negotiations with Real, soon signed a new contract with the "Red Devils", so the UEFA Champions League winners may have to seriously reconsider their options.
Another country's newspaper "AS" has already managed to interview the goalkeeper, who currently feels great in Manchester, but is not completely certain about his future career.
"Nobody knows their future. I am happy in Manchester because I play for a great club, but the question of the future is a tricky thing," said the goalkeeper.
Asked to comment on the rumors about a move to Real, De Gea replied: "I am not going to talk about it. I don't want to talk about this topic and now I need to focus all my attention on Man Utd."
"Marca" indicates that Real sees Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois or Milan's young talent Gianluigi Donnarumma as alternatives to D. De Gea.
