Maskva leaders confirmed that they would like to bring back London striker Roman Pavlyuchenko to the team.
The footballer is not satisfied with a reserve role in the capital team of England and is inclined to leave.
"Pavlyuchenko is a top-class footballer. He scored and would score many goals in the Russian championship," said Spartak sports director Dmitry Popov.
"Therefore, it is easy to understand why we are interested. The main question is what compensation Tottenham will want. We contacted them last year, but did not receive an answer."
