Sporting directors arrived in Manchester to finalize negotiations with B. Fernandes.

"Manchester United" is so close to acquiring Bruno Fernandes, sources in Portugal report.

"Record" claims that Lisbon's "Sporting" sports director Frederico Varandas and president Hugo Viana are currently visiting the "Man Utd" club's offices to negotiate the final transfer fee for B. Fernandes.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been linked with the "Red Devils" since last summer. The Portuguese player stayed with the "Sporting" team after long speculation, but his move to the "Premier" League, as recent reports suggest, seems inevitable.

The "Sporting" coach said earlier today: "Bruno is very important to our team. I don't want to even think about what will happen in the transfer window. I hope he doesn't leave, but we have to be prepared for it."

Having scored 13 goals and provided as many assists in 24 matches this season, B. Fernandes is valued at a sum of 60-70 million euros.
