The Tottenham Hotspur club bought Swedish national team defender Eric Edman. Everything was finalized after the player successfully passed a medical examination and agreed to the personal terms of the contract.
E. Edman played in all of Sweden's group matches in the European Championship.
The 25-year-old defender has been playing in the club recently. He moved from the "Helsingborgs" team in 2001, where he started his professional career in 1998.
Also, the London club invited two strikers for a trial period - Edson Souza from the club, and Dagui Bakary from the club.
Both of these strikers could be needed for the team after the main striker of the London club, Robbie Keane, suffered an injury.
