Fabrizio Romano announces that "Spurs" in January want to listen to offers for Steven Bergwijn. According to "Telegraaf" journalist Mike Verweij, "Ajax" took the first step and made a £15 million offer for the 24-year-old footballer, but this offer was rejected. The "Eredivisie" giant was very interested in acquiring Bergwijn since they found out that the English team is looking to sell him. Two years ago, "Spurs" bought the winger from PSV for £27 million and this month they hope to recoup as much of that sum as possible. It is for this reason that the club management rejected the initial offer from "Ajax." Bergwijn played 13 games this season, scoring once and providing two assists.
