It is reported that Sergio Ramos, who injured his tendon during the "La Liga" championship match against "Sevilla", will not play for five weeks.
Earlier it was predicted that the defender would have to rest from football for about three weeks.
That means that the "Real" team will have to cope without one of their main players in such important matches as against Madrid "Atletico" or Gelzenkirchen "Schalke".
"Sergio's injury is serious, but I trust Raphael Varane and Nacho Fernandez," said Real coach Carlo Ancelotti.
This season, 28-year-old S.Ramos played 29 matches for the Madrid club and scored six goals.
