Santiago Solari has no doubt that the UEFA Champions League final will be beautiful, and both Madrid clubs deserve to be in it.
The Argentine, who has worn both teams' jerseys in the past, considers Madrid his home but feels a greater sympathy for the "Real" team.
"It will be a beautiful match," Solari said about the final. "Both clubs deserve to play in the Champions League final."
"It will be a special duel for me because these are the clubs where I played. I came from Argentina to Atletico and had five wonderful seasons in the Los Blancos team."
"Madrid means a lot to me. It's amazing that the city's teams are the strongest in Europe. I am very proud that Madrid clubs are playing in the final," said the former defender.
Solari also added, "I feel love and respect for Atletico. They opened the doors to European football for me, but I can't deny that I am a Madridista."
