AC Milan has agreed with Real Madrid on the acquisition of the Argentine Santiago Solari. An agreement has also been reached with the footballer regarding the contract terms.

The 28-year-old winger will sign a three-year contract with Inter. It is believed that Solari will put his signature on the contract today or on Wednesday when he returns from vacation.

The transfer fee for the Argentine will be only 1 million euros, because there is a clause in the contract he signed with Real earlier this January, saying that the player can leave the team very cheaply if he does not play in the starting lineup.

Solari, who joined the royal club in 2000 from Atletico, will have the same financial conditions in Inter's team as he had last season with the runners-up in Spain.

It was thought that the third-placed team in the Italian championship would also rent out defender Walter Samuel together with Solari, but difficulties arose due to the size of the footballer's salary and the deal is not moving forward.
