Stoke City proved superiority against Swansea at home (VIDEO)

On Monday night, the last match of the 10th round took place in the English Premier League.

Stoke City battled with Swansea players in front of their own fans. The "Potters" surpassed the "Swans" with a score of 3-1 and secured their third consecutive victory in the English top flight.

The hosts broke through at the very end of the match - Wilfried Bony scored after a pass from Joe Allen. However, Stoke did not enjoy the lead for long as Wayne Routledge equalized in the 8th minute.

In the second half, Mark Hughes' side was determined not to lose points. In the 55th minute, Ramadan Sobhi forced a Swansea defender to score an own goal, and the final blow came in the 73rd minute from the same W. Bony.

Stoke City, who have been unbeaten in five consecutive matches in the Premier League, currently sit in 12th place. Meanwhile, the tragic start of the season continues for Swansea - their seventh defeat and penultimate position.
