After Sunday's matches in the Bundesliga, a new leader emerged - it was the "Stuttgart" club, who defeated "Hannover" as guests and climbed back to the top position in the league after a long break.

The match in Hanover started unsuccessfully for the "Stuttgart" team: already at the beginning of the match, from a pass by Michael Tarnat, J. Rosenthal redirected the ball into the goal from about eleven meters and "Hannover" gained the lead.

Immediately after the break, the visitors managed to equalize the result, and with a precise strike with his left foot, after a pass from Cacau, T. Hitzlsperger scored in the penalty area. Just a few minutes later, "Stuttgart" was already in the lead - the ball shot by Mario Gomez from fourteen meters hit the goal post of Roberto Enke's goal, but Cacau, who was the first to reach the ball, easily sent it into the empty net. At the end of the match, T. Hitzlsperger, who had scored the goal, was sent off the field for the second yellow card, and he will have to miss an important upcoming match against "Bayern".

In the other match of the evening, the "Nurnberg" club suffered a painful defeat, conceding a goal in the final minute and drawing 1-1 with the "Aachen" team. This was already the eighth draw for "Nurnberg" in this season and the club still hasn't won a match since mid-August.
