Sūduva" triumphed against the Latvians

Marijampolės „Sūduva“ won the friendly match against Riga's „Metta“ football players 2:0 (1:0).

The starting lineup for „Sūduva“ included Giedrius Zenkevičius, Žygimantas Baltrūnas, Augustas Dubickas, Ivan Zotko, Steve Lawson, Maksym Pyrohov, Ernestas Burdzilauskas, Rokas Filipavičius, Artiom Fiodorov, Motiejus Burba, and Justas Česnavičius.

In the second half, after substitutions, Aleksandras Živanovičius, Ugochukwu Oduenyi, Deivydas Zubavičius, Aivaras Emsis, Dominykas Pudžemys, Pijus Bičkauskas, and Ivan Stojanovas took to the field.

The first goal was scored by the residents of Marijampolė in the 7th minute, when A. Fiodorovas broke through on the left side and after his pass, J. Česnavičius sent the ball into the net with one touch.

The second goal came in the final moments of the match, when M. Burba outran the opponent's goalkeeper.

The preparation season cycle for „Sūduva“ will end on February 24 at 2 p.m. with a match against „Jelgava“.
