Marijampolės "Sūduva" arrived in Budapest on Tuesday and had their first training session in the Hungarian capital.
On Thursday, the Lithuanian champions will play the most important match in the club's history. "Sūduva" has a historic opportunity to advance to the group stage of the Europa League after achieving a draw in the first leg against the "Ferencvaros" team.
Before the crucial match, one of "Sūduva's" new signings Ivan Hladik said that the team will need to show more ambition in attack.
"The first match was tough, but we defended well and had chances to score in the first 20-30 minutes. In the second half, we were mostly defending, so we will need to play more aggressively right away," said the Slovakian legionnaire.
"I felt good in the first match, but it was not easy because I hadn't played for a long time. Now we have another tough game ahead. I think the stadium will be full, the Hungarians will feel the pressure, and we will need to defend as well as we did in the first home game. We will also need to score one or two goals," added the defender.
