Antonio Rudiger will serve his suspension in Spain, which will soon be announced, while being in the hospital.

The German, who has suffered from knee pain all season, has gone under the knife.

After knee surgery, A. Rudiger will not play football for 4-6 weeks. He may miss the Nations League final four, which will take place in his native Germany, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup.

A. Rudiger is expected to receive a suspension for attacking the referee in the King's Cup final.
