On Tuesday evening, in the Italian Cup quarterfinal match between "Cremonese" and "Napoli," after a penalty shootout result of 3:2 (4:5), "Napoli" footballers were defeated.

Quite unexpectedly, the guests took the lead in this match. In the 18th minute, after a pass from Davide Okereke, Charles Pickelis sent the ball into the net.

"Napoli" quickly recovered from the "shock duo" and scored two goals in the first half. In the 33rd minute, Juan Jesus scored with a header, and in the 36th minute, Giovanni Simeone defeated the opponents' goalkeeper after a pass from Alessio Zerbino.

During extra time, 100 minutes into the game, the second yellow card was shown to "Cremonese" defender Leonardo Sernicolai. With ten men left, "Cremonese" managed to hold on until the penalty shootout.

In the penalty shootout, "Cremonese" footballers proved their advantage with a score of 5:4. Stanislav Lobotka of "Napoli" was unable to score from the penalty spot.

"Cremonese" will face the team led by Jose Mourinho, "AS Roma," in the Italian Cup quarterfinals.
