During the opening match of the 2022/23 season of "La Liga" that took place on Friday evening, the players of "Osasuna" unexpectedly defeated "Sevilla" team at home with a score of 2:1. The first goal of the match came in the 9th minute when "Osasuna" striker Chimy Avila scored with a header to put his team ahead. However, the hosts equalized just a few minutes later. Rafa Miras found the net after a great team attack. The winning goal came in the 74th minute. The visitor's player Papu Gomezas committed a foul in his penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty kick to the "Sevilla" team. Aimar Orosas converted the penalty kick and the final score became 2:1. In the next round, "Osasuna" will face "Cadiz" team, while "Sevilla" will host the "Valladolid" players at home.
