Both teams started the match by scoring a quick goal each. The hosts took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal by Przemyslaw Frankowski, but PSG striker Hugo Ekitike responded with his own goal just 3 minutes later.
„Lens“ regained their advantage in the 28th minute. After a pass from Seko Fofana, Luis Openda beat the opponents' goalkeeper.
