"Swansea City" announced that they have released coach Garry Monk. The football specialist was a member of the team for 11 years - initially as a player, and in February 2014 he became the interim manager. At the end of the same season, the team manager offered Monk a three-year contract, but after a series of failures in the autumn, he decided to take a different path. In the past football season, "Swansea" finished in 8th place in the "Premier" league, but now, having won only one game since August, they are in just 15th place.
