Sweden became the first of the 16 teams participating in the European Championship to announce the list of 23 players who will represent the national team.

Many Swedish fans were delighted at the beginning of the week by the news that "Celtic" forward Henrik Larsson will return to the national team after a break. He became one of four forwards who will go to Portugal.

There is currently doubt about three players who are injured. Defenders Michael Svensson and Johan Mjallby, as well as forward Marcus Allback, will try to recover from injuries before the start of the European Championship.
