Sweden dramatically became the third country to break into the semi-finals of the European Women's Football Championship. In the quarterfinals, Sweden defeated Belgium 1-0 only in extra time in a great championship match. Linda Sembrant, Sweden's center-back, scored the winning goal in the 90+2 minute. It was her 20th shot towards goal and 7th shot on target in a game dominated by Swedish players. In the semi-finals, Sweden will face England's national team.
