Jose Mourinho does not take a break from football during the holiday season - the Portuguese was spotted on Thursday at the matches of the Belgium and Iceland national teams. Both of the coach's proteges missed this match - neither Romelu Lukaku nor Marouane Fellaini were present. According to media reports, J. Mourinho's eyes were focused on Toby Alderweireld. The center-back was of interest to "Man Utd" last summer, but Ed Woodward did not fulfill J. Mourinho's wishes - he did not invite any new center-back to the team. With a huge gap in defense this season, “Man Utd” promises to return to the hunt for T. Alderweireld in January. The 29-year-old Belgian's contract with "Tottenham" expires next summer, so the "Red Devils" may agree to sell him this winter to make some profit from the defender. Leaving the stadium, J. Mourinho did not disclose the real reason why he watched these particular matches. When asked what brought him to Belgium, the Portuguese sarcastically said, "the weather."
“José, what brings you to misty Belgium?”
