Before the season, the "Premier League" favorite, the "Liverpool" team, is going through a very difficult period.
The "Reds" currently occupy only seventh place in the league table and definitely will not fight for the title.
However, Liverpool club still maintains good chances in the fight for a place in the top four, which, according to team defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, is their main goal at the moment.
"It is obvious that we were hoping for a much better season. We wanted to fight for the title, but now it is clear that it will not happen.
We will draw conclusions and figure out what prevented us from achieving that. However, for now, we need to focus on new goals and successfully finish the season.
Our goal is to play in the Champions League next season. We will do everything to secure a place there," T. Alexander-Arnold spoke to "Liverpool Echo".
