London's Chelsea team was joined by Tiemoue Bakayoko in 2017, but he failed to establish himself in the ranks of the "aristocrats" and spent last season on loan at AC Milan.
In Italy, the 24-year-old Frenchman played a total of 42 matches, scoring one goal and providing just as many assists.
T. Bakayoko's contract with Chelsea is valid until 2022, and the defensive midfielder returned to London this summer.
However, speaking to "L'Equipe," the footballer revealed that he dreams of one day playing in his native Paris.
"Of course, one day I would like to play for the Paris team. I can't lie about that. It's very important to me and my family. We are true Parisians.
"This summer I returned to Chelsea, where I have a contract for another three years. I have no other choice. I don't know what will happen later, but I have to return to Chelsea. That's the only thing I know," said T. Bakayoko.
