Last summer, leaving London's Chelsea and joining Madrid's Real, goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois insists he doesn't know a player who wouldn't want to play in the ranks of the "royal" club.
The Belgian warmly spoke about his time spent in London, but admitted that he couldn't refuse the offer from Madrid.
"I don't know a player who wouldn't want to play in the ranks of Madrid's Real.
"I was happy in Chelsea's ranks, I felt fully involved in the club and had great teammates. There were no major problems.
However, then Madrid's Real showed interest. I think such an invitation is the best one you can receive in your football career," Courtois told "ABC."
The goalkeeper played 26 matches in Real's ranks this season and kept his goal dry 10 times.
