Thibaut Courtois denied rumors linking him to a move to "Real" Madrid and promised to stay with "Chelsea" next season.
Talk of the Belgian's return to Spain grew louder after he stated that his heart is in Madrid.
In the past, he represented the "Atletico" club and his family still lives there, but the 25-year-old footballer is ready to fulfill his obligations to the "aristocrats".
"I am committed to Chelsea," Courtois told the "Evening Standard".
"I have a contract until the end of next year and I will be here. I will give all my efforts because of it."
"Of course, a new contract has not been signed yet, but I don't think this is the right time. I think it's better to wait until the end of the season."
"I can only say that I am loyal to Chelsea and will be loyal next year."
Current Courtois' contract with the "aristocrats" expires only in the summer of 2019. When asked about his future plans, the Belgian did not reveal any details.
