London's "Chelsea" goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois hinted at his desire to return to the "La Liga" championship in Spain.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper was acquired by the "Chelsea" club in 2011, but played three seasons on loan at "Atletico". In 2014, T. Courtois returned to "Chelsea" and is now the team's main goalkeeper.
It seems that the Belgian national team goalkeeper is not very happy with life in England and, giving an interview to the newspaper "Marca", revealed his love for Spain.
"I am half in Spain," - said T. Courtois. - When I had to say goodbye to this country, I had to go through a not very pleasant period. It wasn't easy for me, I cried."
"Atletico" is my family. I still feel the love of this team," - the goalkeeper mentioned about his former club.
When asked if he would like to return to Madrid, the goalkeeper replied: "Yes, but not only because of the club, but because of the city and the country itself. I still eat Spanish food, watch television from this country. Like I said, I am half Spanish," - added T. Courtois.
