T. Courtois skipped "Chelsea" training to expedite transfer to "Real"

Belgian national team goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois decided to take a day off and missed the training session of London's "Chelsea" team on Monday.

Of course, the Belgian's goal was not just to relax. This tactic is meant to speed up his transfer to Madrid's "Real" team, with which he has been linked since the beginning of the transfer window.

However, the English transfer window will close in just two days. While T. Courtois can leave his team until August 31, "Chelsea" can only acquire new players until August 9 at 7 PM.

"Chelsea" has made it clear that they will not sell T. Courtois unless they find a replacement for him, so the most realistic chance for the Belgian is to leave within the next two days.

If "Chelsea" doesn't sell T. Courtois, they risk losing him without receiving any money in return. The football player's contract will expire at the end of this season, meaning that he can sign with any other team as early as January.
