T. Courtois: "You can't think about victories when you don't score goals"

Thibaut Courtois helped Madrid's Real team avoid another defeat in the "El Clasico" match on Saturday.

The only and winning goal in the middle of the first half was scored by Ivan Rakitic. Later, T. Courtois once again saved his team, but they couldn't score a goal against their opponents in Madrid.

"Real" didn't score a goal in either of the last two "El Clasico" matches. The Belgian goalkeeper stated that the team lacked sharpness in attack.

"To win such matches, you have to score goals. We lacked that in both matches against Barca," - said the goalkeeper, expressing his disappointment.

"We couldn't make the final pass. We had several good chances, but the ball just wouldn't go into their goal," - added the Belgian.

T. Courtois admitted that the fight for the "La Liga" title is over, so now all attention needs to be focused on the UEFA Champions League.

"In the league, we need to improve our game and fight until the end. It's clear that we will focus all our attention on the Champions League. Hopefully, we will be able to score goals better there and compete for the title," - concluded the Belgian giant.
