The forward of the Lithuanian national team continues to save his team from relegation in the Italian "Serie B" league - on Saturday, after the Lithuanian converted penalty kick, he earned important three points and sentenced two teams to relegation, while also securing a spot in "Serie A" for his team.
The match against "Crotone" at home for "Avellino" started successfully, and in the fourth minute a penalty kick was awarded to the visitors, but Marcello Albino failed to score. Nevertheless, in the first half "Avellino" earned another penalty and this time T.Danilevičius took the kick without a mistake, scoring his 16th goal of the season from the penalty spot.
After the break, "Crotone" failed to capitalize on their chances, and "Avellino" emerged victorious, surpassing and pushing "Ternana" team, who were at the same points level before this round, into the relegation zone. The Lithuanian team's victory also meant that before the end of the season, "Cremonese" and "Catanzaro" will definitely be relegated to lower tier.
