T. Duka leaves "Žalgiris" after three years

Tomislavas Duka will no longer represent "Žalgiris" next year. The Vilnius club and the goalkeeper have agreed to terminate the contract by mutual agreement.

The 31-year-old Croatian has been representing the capital club since March 2021.

In the capital team, he mostly played the role of a backup goalkeeper.

During three seasons with T. Duka in the ranks of "Žalgiris", he played a total of 49 matches, conceded 42 goals, and kept his goal dry in 25 matches.

The most memorable moment for T. Duka was at the end of the 2021 season when he played 10 consecutive matches in the championship, as well as in the cup semi-final and final, contributing to the team's double victory - the championship title and the cup trophy.

In the 2023 Supercup match, T. Duka saved one opponent's penalty kick and helped "Žalgiris" win the title.

In total, the goalkeeper became a national champion three times with the team, won the cup twice, and won the Supercup once.
