Monchengladbach's "Borussia" has confirmed that they have acquired all rights to London's "Chelsea" player Thorgan Hazard.
The 21-year-old footballer arrived at the German club this summer on loan, but his excellent form prompted "Gladbach" to buy out the Belgian's contract for good.
Hazard has signed a new contract valid until 2020, and the team promises him an important role in their quest to compete in the UEFA Champions League.
The attacking midfielder scored once in over 25 matches in the Bundesliga and Europa League this season.
Club's sporting director Max Eberl said: "Thorgan has proven to be a huge talent. We are happy that we were able to acquire him permanently and he has decided to continue representing Borussia."
Hazard arrived in London in 2012, but has been loaned out to other teams throughout his time there.
