"Santiago Bernabeu" stadium on Monday presented Theo Hernandez, who spoke at a press conference about his dream come true and being in the best club in the world.
Madrid's "Real" officially confirmed last week that they have acquired the 19-year-old left-back T. Hernandez from "Atletico." The Frenchman was introduced today at the "white" fortress and shared his first impressions.
"I am happy to be in the best club in the world," said the defender. "Atletico" always treated me well, but I am here because I always wanted this."
"I have already spoken with Zidane and he wished me the best of luck. I had offers from other teams, but in my mind, it was always just "Real."
"I know it won't be easy here, as Marcelo is the best left-back in the world. But I have plenty of time, I will try to learn from him and be an important part of this team," concluded the €26 million defender.
Although T. Hernandez spent his entire youth in the "Atletico" academy, he did not manage to debut in the main team. Last season, the defender was very successful in loan spells at the "Alaves" club.
