Liverpool's "Everton" goalkeeper Tim Howard has agreed to play for the MLS team Colorado "Rapids" and return to his homeland this summer.
Having spent 13 years in England, the American will officially move to his new club on July 8.
The 37-year-old veteran's contract with the "Toffees" is valid until 2018, but they agreed to release the goalkeeper for a buyout fee of around $600,000.
Howard himself confirmed to ESPN that his contract with the "Rapids" will last for three years and will end when he turns fifty.
It is believed that the player will earn between $2.5 - $2.8 million per season within the ranks of the U.S. team.
