T. Kroosas will no longer play for the Germany national team

The German national team lost an important player. Longtime team captain Toni Kroos announced that he is ending his career in the national team. In total, he defended the honor of his country in 106 matches and scored 17 goals. Toni Kroos made his debut for the German team in March 2010 against Argentina, later participating in three European and three World Cup championships. In 2014, the player became a world champion. "I had long ago made the decision to end my career in the national team after Euro 2020 and I was at peace with the thought that I would not play in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. I made this decision in order to focus on achieving goals with Real Madrid and to have some extra rest during the national team playing period. I am also a married man and father, now spending more time with my three children," the defender wrote.
