The Lithuanian national team footballer Tadas Labukas will continue his career in Russia.
The 29-year-old forward signed a 2.5-year contract with the Moscow club "Torpedo", which competes in the National Football League (NFL).
"After the trial, Tadas made a very good impression on Boris Ignatiev, who became the new coach of "Torpedo" last November. This experienced specialist in Russia has a huge authority, as he has been coaching the Russian national team for more than five years. His word led the club's management to immediately offer a contract on good terms," - Tadas' agent Paulius Paknys told lrytas.lt portal.
"Torpedo" is already the tenth club in T. Labukas' career.
In 2012, the Lithuanian national team forward represented Riga's "Skonto" and scored 11 goals in 28 matches in the Latvian championship.
The former player of Klaipėda's "Atlantas" and Vilnius' "Žalgiris" has previously played in the leagues of Greece, Russia, Romania, Azerbaijan, Poland, and Norway.
