"Club Brugge" defender Thomas Meunier revealed that a transfer to "Paris Saint-Germain" definitely interests him, but nothing has been decided yet.
Before the European Championship quarterfinal match with Wales, the footballer briefly left the Belgian national team camp to discuss his possible future with the leaders of the French champions.
However, he cannot be sure how much playing time the new PSG coach Unai Emery will give him.
"I haven't made a decision yet. PSG is an interesting project with a lot of financial resources and playing in the Champions League. Nevertheless, I still have doubts," Meunier said.
"PSG is improving and becoming a top-level club like "Barcelona", Madrid's "Real" and "Manchester City". How much playing time will be given to me? Will I have a chance to prove my worth, or will I warm the bench all season?"
"I know the coach wants to sign me, but they will also have Serge Aurier," he added.
"Perhaps I would play more elsewhere. Seven clubs have shown concrete interest in me. Some coaches have guaranteed that I will play in the starting lineup."
"We will see what happens. I would say there is a 30 percent chance that I will join PSG, but there are also other candidates," he concluded.
According to various reports, Meunier is also interested in "Napoli" and London's "West Ham".
