Before the start of the World Cup, Munich's "Bayern" managed to deal with two German national team players. The contract with Bavarians was extended for Thomas Muller and Philipp Lahm.
"Bayern" captain P. Lahm will remain at the club at least until 2018, and T. Muller, who has recently been linked with famous European teams, will stay in Munich until 2019.
"Thomas Muller and Philipp Lahm are very important to Bayern club. We are very happy that these players agreed to continue their careers in our team," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Both footballers are products of Bayern. P. Lahm has been playing in the main team since 2002, while 24-year-old T. Muller has been with the team since 2008.
Last season, they triumphed together with Bayern in the German championship and cup.
