Munich's "Bayern" is approaching the end of their streak of 11 consecutive Bundesliga titles. On Saturday, the Bavarians suffered a 0-3 defeat in Leverkusen to "Bayer" club, and now these clubs are separated by 5 points at the top of the league table.
Legend Thomas Muller did not hold back his anger and disappointment after the loss: "Of course, the symptoms are visible on the field. Honestly, I am frustrated. I can quote the legendary Oliver Kahn: 'What I miss from our players in the game is balls.'"
For some reason, we look better in training, the mood is better there. Feeling the pressure is good, but there needs to be a little more energy and freedom. That's what our game lacks.
Sometimes you need to talk about the players, not just the coach. We have many players who play at the highest level with their national teams, we need to step up," the German said.
There are 13 matchdays left in the Bundesliga until the end of the season.
