Tanguy Ndombele returned to compete in his native France after an unsuccessful spell in England, where he began his career. The central midfielder returned to the "Lyon" team on a loan basis with the possibility for the club to buy the player's contract for 65 million euros after the season. After returning home, T. Ndombele said: "I had five different coaches at Tottenham. I needed something else, but at the moment I still belong to the Tottenham club. I may still play there next year," T. Ndombele expressed doubt. In addition, today the "L'Equipe" newspaper revealed that the Frenchman covered part of his salary from his own pocket to return to play for the "Lyon" team.
