For the last few years, the leader of Marijampolė's "Sūduva" and the striker of the Lithuanian national team is heading to the Czech Republic. One of the best players of the 2005 "A Lyga" season signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Czech league leader Liberec.
At the end of the football season in his homeland, the Lithuanian decided to test his skills abroad and initially went for a trial at Prague's "Sparta". However, instead of landing in the most famous club in the Czech Republic, the striker signed a contract with the current league leaders, Liberec "Slovan". The financial terms of the player's move from "Sūduva" are not disclosed.
24-year-old T. Radzinevičius, who was named the best player in Lithuania in 2002 and this year finished in third place in these elections, scored 25 goals in this season's "A Lyga" and helped Marijampolė's "Sūduva" secure the third position for the second time in its history and qualify for the UEFA Cup tournament.
