T. Sheringham: Mourinho is still the "Special One"

In 2004, Jose Mourinho, who led London's Chelsea at the time, declared himself to be The Special One.

Throughout his career, Portugal later won titles in England, Italy, and Spain and triumphed in the UEFA Champions League, which certainly does not allow any doubt about the nickname.

However, after a very poor start to the last season, he was fired from the same Chelsea manager position - it was then that fans began to doubt his abilities.

Nevertheless, former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham believes that Mourinho is still special and will bring the Red Devils back to the path of victories.

"Now it seems that Jose Mourinho has finally put everything in place at Old Trafford," the Englishman told the Daily Mirror.

"It is a huge job, truly huge - even for a person like Mourinho, who has experienced so much success."

"However, his achievements show that whether he was in England or Europe, he knows what it takes to achieve victories."

"United is one of the biggest clubs in the world and it needs a special person to lead them. Mourinho could undoubtedly be that person."

"He knows what he wants, and I am sure he will get it."

"Manchester United is currently only three points behind fourth place in the Premier League."
