In France, passions continue to grow over the serious foot injury of Paris Saint Germain's leader Neymar.
The 26-year-old Brazilian, who is injured, will miss at least a month and will not be able to help his team in the second leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid.
PSG defender Thiago Silva revealed to the press that Neymar could have been intentionally injured during the Ligue 1 match against Marseille.
“Shame. Dimitri Payet approached the referee and said he wanted to injure Neymar on purpose. This is not football,” Silva expressed his frustration.
Meanwhile, Marseille defender Armavi insisted that Neymar himself is to blame.
“We played normally, but he kept trying to provoke mistakes. It was clear on the field. What more could we expect? Everyone knows he is talented, but he falls too often,” Armavi said.
