UEFA Champions League returns to television screens - on the very first day of the new season, there will be highly anticipated matches in Group C.
At Anfield stadium, last season's finalists Liverpool will host Paris Saint-Germain. PSG captain Thiago Silva emphasized at a press conference that spectators can expect an exceptional football spectacle.
"Preparations went smoothly, so we hope to return home with a positive result," T. Silva spoke positively.
"Everything depends on us, on how well-prepared and focused we are. We have prepared for these matches because we know that fans expect exceptional games. I think we will be able to see a true football show.
"When we talk about Liverpool and PSG, we immediately think of two teams that probably have the best attack lines in the world. Both their and our attacking trio could determine the outcome of the match.
The best way to prepare for such matches is tactical decisions, but regardless, we should still see a match of exceptional quality," T. Silva added.
The Liverpool vs. PSG match will kick off at 22:00 Lithuania time.
