T. Silva revealed when he plans to say goodbye to PSG

Thiago Silva revealed that he does not intend to extend his contract with "Paris Saint-Germain" and will leave the club after it expires.

The central defender has been representing the French champions since 2012 when he arrived from "Milan" for 42 million euros.

Throughout his time with PSG, the Brazilian has played in 230 matches and has often carried the role of captain.

"It is impossible not to hear any criticism", - Silva told "Le Foot Paris".

"However, no newspaper or journalist will tell me who I am. I know who I am. That's why I continue to play as before."

"I respect all opinions, but when you are attacked personally, it becomes difficult."

"I am particularly disappointed when it affects my family and loved ones. However, wearing the PSG jersey has always been a responsibility I do not shy away from."

During his almost seven years in France, critics have often questioned Silva's leadership qualities because the team has not been able to reach the heights of the UEFA Champions League. The defender may leave PSG without winning the title.

"I must continue to work hard to help my team-mates. There is always competition in football", - added the Brazilian.

"Putting everything into perspective, I am 33 years old. I have two years left on my contract, and then I will pass on my place to someone else."
